Calgary After School Care – Homework and Hangout Headquarters
At Cedarbrae Childcare Centre, we offer a play-based after school care program in Calgary. At this stage learning through play looks differently as children begin their exploration into social norms and their individual roles in society. Our program includes a mix of exploration, guided and independent activities, quiet times and outdoor play.
Our educators provide many opportunities for children to plan their own activities, participate in group decision-making and project development. We also emphasize home-like activities allowing unstructured time and privacy for reading, homework or small social groups. We consider every child’s unique individual needs to ensure our Centre is somewhere they’re eager to come to at the end of a school day.
